Unipolar Depression-How to get rid of it

Unipolar depression is a form of depression that is more severe and is also referred to as clinical depression. It also goes by the term major-depression disorder  and is a form  of depression with severe and disabling effects. Depression in general affects more women than men. Unipolar depression causes a person to loose interest  in many activities and he/she will also feel unhappy most of the times.

In addition, this form of depression also affects normal activities such as sleeping and eating and is a chronic disease that recurs at least once in a person’s life. The causes of Unipolar depression are not clear and they are spontaneous and independent on some specific events. In some people it arises from severe shock and trauma. Some scientist have also been made to believe that genetics are involve in this form of depression.

Some of the things that you have to look at to know whether a person suffering from Unipolar depression include lack of interest in pleasures of life, loss of appetite, unable to think or concentrate, feeling of hopelessness and unworthiness, feeling guilty for no reason. Others signs are drastic changes in the sleeping and eating habits, irritable and feeling sad always.
