Vacation depression: How to deal with the condition?

Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to natural action. Depression is not a deficiency or an organ disorder which can just be snapped off. It is caused by the instability of the brain and its reaction and the effects are seen as psychological disorder. Depression if not treated could be serious, though it may not be life threatening, it needs proper medical attention.  A decent break from the hectic work and the quality time spent with the family could avert one from the depression. But there are certain cases that even a vacation could lead to another depression called Vacation depression or Post vacation blues.

This kind of depression can be avoided if we make certain adjustments after our well spent vacation.  Returning back to work should not be rushed and allow yourself to relax to get back to the normal routine. One can call the relatives and share the adventure as it suppresses the feeling that no one is to understand your fresh experience. One can post a picture of the adventure trip and keep a photo in the screen saver helps us to cherish the memories. Also by planning the next adventure, keeps this vacation’s depression down.
